Federal census takers will be hitting the streets to count Americans who haven't responded to the survey taken every ten years. Dennis Johnson is Deputy Director of the Denver Region for the 2020 census ... which includes Kansas. Johnson tells KNSS News more than 63 percent of Wichitans have already responded ... and nearly 66 percent of the people in Kansas. He says this is the first time the vast majority of Americans have responded to the census online.
The Census determines how Americans are represented in Congress, and how billions of dollars in federal funding is allocated.
