President Trump signed legislation to create a monument in the Nation's capital commemorating the pioneers of the women's suffrage movement.
The statue will be a 22-foot tall bronze sculpture featuring the images of activists Susan B. Anthony, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Sojourner Truth and others.
Colorado sculptor Jane DeDecker has been given the the project, and already created a model of what the statue could look like.
2020 marked the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment, which guaranteed women the constitutional right to vote.
