
Two people were transported to the hospital after a rollover crash in northwest Sedgwick County Sunday morning.
It happened just after 10 o'clock, in the westbound lanes of K-96, just west of 295th Street West near Mt. Hope. Emergency crews arriving on the scene found a single vehicle that had rolled over into the ditch.
The westbound lanes of K-96 and also 295th Street West had to be shut down for a time due to the crash.
Sedgwick County dispatch says two people were transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
Weather may have been a factor in the accident. Crews on the scene reported that bridges in the area were slick and requested assistance from KDOT.
