A woman is dead following a house fire in Wellington. It happened around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday morning in the area of 17th and Jefferson.
The fire was out when crews arrived, but they discovered considerable damage to the living room, where the woman was found.
Investigators say the fire was caused due to someone smoking near medical oxygen.
