Who in Kansas will get the vaccine next?

-

Kansas could finish giving COVID-19 vaccines to long-term care residents and health care workers by the end of this month.

A draft plan that Gov. Laura Kelly plans to release, shows the next phase of the vaccine rollout likely will include people 75 and older and those living in group settings such as prisons.

Also included will be critical workers including firefighters, law enforcement, meatpacking employees, grocery store workers and teachers.

The third phase is expected to include people 65 and older and those with severe underlying health problems. People with less serious health problems will likely fall into the fourth phase.

The fifth group will include everyone else.
