The Wichita Police Department says 41-year-old Costella Reed of Wichita died in a shooting at a north Wichita nightclub.
It happened around 2:00 a.m. Saturday, at the Apple Lounge in the 3200 block of North Broadway. When WPD arrived, they found the victim with a gunshot wound to his upper body. He was transported to an area hospital, where he later died. Police say Reed was inside of the club when a disturbance ensued. An unknown suspect fired a shot, striking Reed. Police say this was not a random incident and the investigation continues. If you have any information, you are asked to call police.
