Riverfront Stadium is the official name of Wichita's new multi-purpose facility ... to be the home of the Wind Surge Triple-A baseball team. Mayor Brandon Whipple tells KNSS News it will be more than a baseball stadium ... that it will be used for oither sports and a varity of family-oriented events.
The stadium will be ready to go for the first game in mid April. Whipple commented during Monday with the Mayor on the Steve and Ted in the Morning Show on KNSS.
