The personal finance website WalletHub has released its list of the best-run cities in the country. For each city, WalletHub constructed a “Quality of City Services” score – composed of 38 performance indicators grouped into six service categories – that was then measured against the city’s total per capita budget.
Three cities in Kansas were included in that survey, Wichita, Kansas City, Kansas, and Topeka. Overall, Topeka came in at number 41, while Wichita wasn’t far behind at number 52 out of 150. Kansas City, Kansas was much further down the list at number 133.
Nationally, Nampa, Idaho topped the list, with Washington D.C. at the bottom.
