The Pentagon has a new website that will provide the public with declassified information about what the government calls unidentified anomalous phenomena, more commonly known as UFOs.

During an Aug. 31 press conference, Pentagon spokesman U.S. Air Force Brig. Gen. Patrick Ryder said the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office will provide information, including photos and videos, on resolved UAP cases as they are declassified and approved for public release.

"The website's other content includes reporting trends and a section of frequently asked questions, as well as links to official reports, transcripts, news releases and other resources that the public may find useful,” Ryder added.

The website will additionally include information on applicable statutes and aircraft, balloon and satellite tracking sites.

"The department is committed to transparency with the American people on AARO’s work on UAPs," added Ryder.

According to its mission statement, the website seeks to “minimize technical and intelligence surprise by synchronizing scientific, intelligence, and operational detection identification, attribution, and mitigation of unidentified anomalous phenomena in the vicinity of national security areas.”

The website can be found here.
