According to the Sedgwick County Election Office, as of Monday over 41,000 people in the county have already cast their ballots for the November election. Over 17,000 by mail and 24,000 voting in person. Mailed ballots must have been postmarked before Nov. 5th and must arrive at the Sedgwick County Election Office.
In an effort to make voting in-person more accessible the election office is going to open 17 more voting locations starting today. Early voters do not have to vote at the place nearest their home, but can choose whichever location is most convenient. Voters who wait until Election Day do have to go to their assigned polling location.
