21st Street is closed in both directions from Broadway to Mosley due to a damaged sewer main.
The City of Wichita says a construction crew broke a 36-inch sewer main beneath the road, prompting the city to shut it down while crews clean and assess the damage to decide what repairs are required. Access to local businesses is still good.
Detour to use Broadway or Mosley to reach 21st Street, utilizing either 17th or 13th streets. The city believes the street will be closed for the rest of the week.
