The National Weather Service is predicting a windy day with Red Flag fire danger across much of Kansas. An NWS meteorologist tells KNSS News we can expect "two waves" as a front crosses the central part of the state. The Wichita area is under a High Wind Advisory from 10 am to 6 pm. We can expect sustained winds at more than 30 miles per hour, with gusts as high as 50 miles per hour. Downed power lines and tree limbs are possible.
