A former Sedgwick County detention deputy, arrested due to security breaches at the Sedgwick County Detention Facility, has received three additional charges.
Dustin Burnett had already been charged on suspicion of two counts of official misconduct; destroy/tamer/conceal felony evidence. On Monday he was also charged with three counts of unlawful sexual relations.
During an investigation, two female inmates reported inappropriate sexual contact with Burnett that took place on July 17.
The investigation is ongoing. Burnett remains in jail on $150,000 bond. His next court appearance was set for Aug. 1.
