Child subject of Kansas Amber Alert found safe

UPDATE: The child has been found safe.

The Kansas City Police Department says that at 1:20 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, Jaxon Halley, 2, and his mother were forcibly taken at gunpoint by a suspect identified as Darryl Livingston Jr., 39, during a domestic incident at their home. The child and the mother were driven into Missouri where the mother escaped from the suspect at around 3:28 pm.

Livingston kept Jaxon Halley and left in a unknown direction, from Kansas City, Missouri, making statements to the mother that he would kill her and the child.  Law Enforcement believe the child is in imminent danger.
