UPDATE: A missing Andover man, the subject of a statewide silver alert, was safely located late Saturday evening.
The Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) said 85-year-old David Sawdy was located in Marion County, after the man's vehicle was found Saturday afternoon one mile west of the city of Florence on US-50.
Mr. Sawdy was last heard from at noon Friday on his landline phone at his home. Later that afternoon, he was seen driving in northwest Wichita.
