Sedgwick County Commission Chair Ryan Baty tells KNSS News the frigid weather is "awful," and he appreciates the people who provide essential services during miserably cold weather. He says he thinks "a lot about first responders" and others working out in "miserable" weather. Baty says he hopes we can "come out of this pretty quick".
At Wednesday's weekly commission meeting, Baty will be in charge. He tells KNSS News the agenda includes a proclamation about human trafficking awareness, a few appointments, and some "real normal business items". Baty says it's a short agenda.
Baty says the commission's facing a busy year ahead. He says "we've got a lot of work to do, many challenges, and the cost of government is increasing.
Baty commented during his weekly appearance with Steve and Ted in the Morning on KNSS.
