At Wednesday's meeting, the Sedgwick County Commission will choose this year's Chair. Ryan Baty tells KNSS News he will ask to serve another year as Chair. He believes he's seen "a lot of politics coming from the Commission the last ten or twelve years." Baty thinks the Commission has changed and he wants continue on improvements such as more shared services, modernizing government, and eliminating redundancies.
At the same time, Baty says he recognizes that the other commissioners are all capable of handling the Chair's job.
Baty commented during his weekly visit with Steve and Ted in the Morning on KNSS.
