Another winter storm system is moving across Kansas, with a wide range of rain and snow impacting the area.
Rain and snow is expected overnight Thursday night into Friday morning. The greatest area of snow accumulation will impact the west central part of the state that includes Hayes, Great Bend and Dodge City. Three to over five inches of snow is possible.
Winter Weather Advisories and Blizzard Warnings remain in effect this evening as gusty conditions will also limit visibility leading to some travel impacts.
Farther to the east, temperatures will remain warmer, and we will see rain, and possibly a thunderstorm before snow that's expected to be from a trace to an inch. By Friday, the rain will be moving off to the east.
By the weekend, we will clear off and temperatures will be back in the 60's and 70's.
