A water rescue team from the Hutchinson Fire Department assisted Reno County Fire crews in the rescue of two men and a dog on Cheney Lake after their boat capsized.

The call came in around 6 a.m. Saturday Reno County officials say the two men were clinging to the side of the boat in icy water. One of the men was able to call 9-1-1.
The two men and the dog were brought back ashore, treated and released on the scene.
