Authorities confirmed that a body was found at Maxwell State Lake early Saturday morning.
The McPherson County Sheriff’s Office said it appears the victim drowned. The person's identity is currently unknown.
The Sheriff's Office, along with the Canton Police Department and the Kansas Department of Wildlife & Parks are investigating.
