A new sign for Boeing Wichita was unveiled on Thursday, now that they completed the acquisition of Spirit Aerosystems.
Boeing Wichita site leader, Sean Black said that the day-to-day operations for workers are remaining the same since Spirit is already making parts for Boeing planes.
The deal makes Boeing the city’s largest employer, with roughly 12,000 workers.
