Car crashes into south Wichita bicycle shop
Three people have been injured following a crash in south Wichita. A pair of vehicles were involved in the crash that happened just before 7:00 p.m. Tuesday night at Broadway and Mt. Vernon.
Just before the accident Wichita Police, (WPD), had been in pursuit of a pair of vehicles, but the chase was called off. WPD has not been able to confirm if the cars they were chasing were ones involved in the crash.
One of the cars crashed into Tom Sawyer's Bicycle Shop. A security camera in the business caught the crash on video.
Police say in one vehicle was man in his 70's, but information about is his passenger are unknown. In the other car were two men in their 20's.
The drivers of each car and their passengers were taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The accident remains under investigation.
