There was a three-car train derailment in N. Wichita; it happened before 9:00 a.m. Thursday near 26th Street N. & Washington, just west of I-135.
Crews found two cars upright and one on its side. A hazardous materials team assessed the situation, finidng no leaks of hazardous material. The derailed cars contained chlorine.
Fire crews & railroad officials from BNSF have been on the scene throughout the day.
