At Tuesday's meeting, the Wichita City Council will consider union-approved pay raises for police. Mayor Brandon Whipple tells KNSS News they will also consider pay raises for service employees, who ensure the City is operating properly.
Also at Tuesday's meeting, the Council will consider upgrading the fire department's two-way radioes ... at $1,400 dollars per unit, about $2.3 million.
