Public Works Director Gary Janzen tells KNSS News the City's 62 trucks and 175 workers have been working 12-hour shifts since Friday. He says a layer of ice under the snow has caused crews challenges in treating streets after the weekend blizzard. He says drivers will work the the snow and ice down into the sand and salt treatment.

Janzen says sunshine will be a big help in clearing the streets, even during frigid temperatures.
