Dangerous wind chills return to Kansas

Another stronger push of Arctic air arrives as a fast-moving snow system moves through the region Wednesday night into Thursday.

Temperatures are expected to fall below zero in the northern parts of the state while others will see a temperature drop into the single digits.  There will be extreme cold wind chills, so it's advisable to make sure you bundle up to protect yourselves from the frigid temperatures.

A Wind Chill Advisory is in effect for Wichita and Sedgwick County into Thursday afternoon.

Warmer temperatures are forecast to return by Friday and into the weekend.
