Wichita Fire crews battled an apartment fire early Sunday.
The blaze was reported around 7:30 a.m. Sunday in the 2800 block of south Emporia, at the Shores Apartment complex. Crews reported that smoke was showing from the structure when they arrived on the scene. Fire personnel were able to remove trapped occupants from the building and no injuries were reported. A dollar estimate for the damage has not been released.
