El Dorado schools closed until after King Holiday
The El Dorado school district, USD 490 announced that they are closing for Thursday, Jan. 13 and Friday, Jan. 14 due to COVID complications.
According to a Facebook post, El Dorado School officials said the decision to close school buildings was made based on staffing shortages and student absenteeism. They are now working to reschedule any sports and school activities impacted by the closing.
The schools are expected to reopen on Tuesday, Jan. 18, following the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.
