A 27-year-old Concordia woman died Friday evening in a crash on the Kansas Turnpike in Butler County.
It happened just after 5:40 p.m. in the northbound lanes of the Turnpike at milepost 74.4. The driver, 30-year-old Antione Dorsey Jr., of Wichita lost control of the vehicle, which then left the roadway and overturned. Three passengers were ejected.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says Dejuanique Edmondson died in the crash.
Two other passengers, Laron Dass Jr., 30, and John Aggson, 26, both of Wichita, were taken to Wesley Hospital with suspected serious injuries. The KHP said Dorsey was the only occupant of the vehicle wearing a seat belt.
