The remains of the Kansas priest who is being considered for sainthood were not identified until earlier this year. They were returned to his family, seventy years after he died in a North Korean prisoner of war camp.
A funeral procession was also held which transported his remains in a horse drawn carriage to his final resting place, the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in downtown Wichita.
