Multiple fire crews responded to a house fire northwest of Rose Hill early Saturday morning.
The call came in around 7:30 a.m., from the 5800 block of S. Prairie Meadows Road.
When they arrived, crews found smoke and fire coming from the home but quickly brought the fire under control.
No injuries were reported and a damage estimate has not been released. The cause of the fire remains under investigation but appears to be related to a wood stove being used.
Derby Fire crews, along with units from Sedgwick County Fire District 1, Rose Hill Fire and McConnell Air Force Base Fire responded.
