Wichita Fire crews responded to a garage fire west of the downtown Saturday morning.
The blaze was reported during the 8 o'clock hour in the 1200 block of W. 2nd Street, near McLean and Seneca. When crews arrived, heavy fire from a detached garage was threatening the home.
The fire was brought under control. There's no word on what started it and a damage estimate has not been released.
