Five students have been arrested after fights broke out Monday at Heights High School. According to the Wichita Police Department the fights broke out during the lunch hour on Monday.
Police say several students got into a physical altercation. Several students were injured, as well as a school resource officer. Five students were arrested, one taken into custody and the others were issued notices to appear in court.
As well as legal ramifications, USD 259 says the students will also face disciplinary action.
