The Point in Time Homeless Count is underway, Steve and Ted get details from Deann Smith, Executive Director, United Methodist Open Door. United Way of the Plains and its Impact ICT partner agencies will work with volunteers to conduct the 2023 Point-In-Time Homeless Count for the Wichita and Sedgwick County area today. The count results are reported to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for their national database and as part of their grant requirements.
