Hundreds of layoffs coming for Wichita-based Spirit AeroSystems

Wichita-based Spirit AeroSystems is notifying its workforce that layoffs are coming. In an internal memo, the company said it's “made the difficult decision” to reduce the hourly production workforce “by approximately 400-450 employees.”
