Wichita Police, (WPD), made a discovery while arresting three suspects on suspicion of drug and theft crimes.

It began just before 6:30 p.m. Thursday evening when officers responded to a larceny call in the 8100 block of east Kellogg. Police were informed that three suspects stole over $1,000 in merchandise before leaving in a gold SUV.
Officers later located the vehicle in the 1600 block of south Ida, where the suspects were observed leaving in another vehicle.
Officers again followed the suspects, this time to a smoke shop in the 900 block of E. Harry, just west of SE Blvd., where they were arrested. Two of the suspects still had items from the robbery, and one was in possession of meth and drug paraphernalia.
Inside the smoke shop, officers also came across four illegal gambling machines, which were then seized by the WPD Vice squad.
The suspects were booked into the Sedgwick County Jail. The investigation continues.
