An El Dorado man is dead after the motorcycle he was riding was struck by a vehicle northeast of Wichita.
It happened just after 3:20 Saturday afternoon, at the intersection of K-254 and Greenwich Road.
A vehicle driven by a 78-year-old Wichita woman was headed north on Greenwich Road when she failed to yield the right of way to a motorcycle that was headed east on K-254.
The Kansas Highway Patrol identified the victim as Timothy Verbeck, 64. The driver of the vehicle had suspected minor injuries and was transported to Wesley Medical Center.
