A Kansas City man accused of shooting a teen who knocked on his door, is expected to change his "not guilty" plea.
The trial for Andrew Lester, 86, was set to begin next week. That trial has been put on hold as his attorney announced the last-minute hearing that will be held Friday afternoon.
In April 2023, investigators say Lester shot Ralph Yarl, then 16, twice, after the teen showed up at his house thinking it was the correct address to pick up his siblings.
