Flags in Kansas will be lowered to half-staff on Sunday in observance of the 21st anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
The order from the Governor, is for all state buildings, grounds and facilities and lasts from sunup to sunset on Sunday.
Many communities are holding 9/11 memorial ceremonies, including in Wichita at 1:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon at the Veterans Memorial Park in downtown Wichita.
