A Kansas man has died following a skiing accident in Colorado.
It happened just before 11:00 a.m. Tuesday morning at the Winter Park Resort.
The ski patrol was alerted that a guest had struck a tree on a trail. Other skiers began CPR on the man until the ski patrol arrived and transported him to the hospital at the base of the resort, where he later died.
He was identified as Andrew McDonald, 20, from Shawnee, Kansas.
Investigators said McDonald was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
