A Kansas man is dead after a crash in a construction zone in Cowley County.
Kansas Highway Patrol, (KHP), Troopers say a man, 72, was driving on Highway 166 east of Arkansas City when he drove around a highway flagger and crashed into a road milling machine.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Crash investigators say they don't believe speed was a factor. There were no other injuries.
The accident remains under investigation.
