A former Wichita radio personality passed away early Saturday morning after a battle with cancer.
Greg Williams, known on the air as “The Hitman”, died following his fight with stage four metastatic cholangiocarcinoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer.
Williams was a familiar voice to Wichita listeners, spending time behind the mic at Power 93.5. His energy, passion for music, and connection with listeners made him a memorable part of the local radio community.
Williams was diagnosed last year. He is survived by his wife, Necol, and their family.
Funeral or memorial service information has not yet been released.
An Audacy spokesperson released the following statement Saturday afternoon:

For more than four decades, Greg was a true Wichita legend, who connected with listeners through his energy, authenticity and genuine love of radio.
