The U.S. Geological Survey says another earthquake rumbled across north central Kansas Friday evening.

The magnitude 4.0 quake, which struck about 6:18 p.m., was centered about a mile northwest of Bennington and was felt in Abilene, Bennington, Minneapolis and Salina.

Several smaller earthquakes were reported in the Minneapolis area last Friday.

The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office said they received several reports of shaking and items falling off shelves. However, there were no reports of significant damage or any injuries.
