Police have arrested 48-year-old Jorge Romero Jr., of Wichita, on charges of First-Degree Murder.
Before 4:00 a.m. Sunday, officers were dispatched to a shooting in the 2800 block of E. Stadium Drive, to the southwest of 21st & Hillside. Officers located a Wichita man, 36-year-old Christian Santiago, dead in the front passenger seat of an SUV.
Investigators identified Romero as a suspect; he was located Tuesday in the 1200 block of W. Casado Street, south of Pawnee & Seneca. Romero was arrested and booked into the Sedgwick County Jail.
Investigators believe the suspect and victim know each other, and that this is not a random incident.
Two men have now been arrested for murder in connection with this case.
