A rollover crash in northeast Wichita seriously injured a Wichita man.
It happened at 2:15 Saturday afternoon in the eastbound lanes of K-96, west of Greenwich Road. The Kansas Highway Patrol says a vehicle was following another in the outside lane when the lead vehicle slowed down for congested traffic. The rear vehicle could not slow down in time and made an unsafe lane change from the outside into the inside lane. The driver then overcorrected back to the outside lane and rolled multiple times before coming to rest on the driver's side.
Gabriel Brack, 22, of Wichita, was taken to Wesley Medical Center for serious injuries. The KHP says he was wearing a seat belt.
The crash closed the eastbound lanes of K-96 for a time.
