A 72-year-old Shawnee County man was killed in a plane crash northeast of Topeka shortly before Noon Saturday.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Steven D. Stucky was flying south but when he went to incline and turn west, the plane stalled, flipped and dove nose-first into the ground.
Stucky was pronounced dead at the scene.
