A bicyclist was killed after being hit by a vehicle in southwest Wichita. It happened just after 6:30 p.m. Wednesday evening in the 5900 block of south Seneca, near 55th.
Police said that a man driving southbound on Seneca, struck a bicyclist in the road.
The man on the bike was transported to an area hospital where he died a short time later.
The accident remains under investigation.
