One person is dead in a south Wichita shooting.
It happened just before 10:30 Monday night, near Ellis and Mount Vernon, which is southwest of the Harry and Hydraulic intersection.
When Wichita Police officers arrived on the scene, they found a man inside an SUV, dead from a gunshot wound. Police say the victim, whose identity has not been released, was in his late teens or early 20s.
No arrests have been made in the case.
