
A man was hospitalized after being shot late Friday night in east Wichita.
Just before 11 p.m., Police responded to a call of shots fired near Kellogg and Woodlawn.
Police tell our news partners KSN that they located a victim with serious injuries at a business, but say he is expected to survive.
During that investigation, officers witnessed a vehicle leaving the area and stopped it. Two men inside that vehicle possessed items officers believed to be related to the shooting.
A 35-year-old man was arrested for two counts of aggravated battery, one count of aggravated assault and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon in commission of a crime.
Kellogg was shut down in both directions for a time as Police investigated.
