A man was hospitalized in critical condition, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in a neighborhood in the southeast part of Wichita, to the north of Mt. Vernon & Edgemoor.
It happened early Thursday evening in the 5300 block of E. Funston; it was a male victim in his early 20s.
Police officers took one woman and two men into custody in connection with the shooting as they were trying to flee the scene; multiple weapons were also found in the area.
